Welcome to our journey with a child diagnosed with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia or CDH. We are the Burns family; Katie, Owen, 18 month old Ollie and our expectant Cherub, Sam.
Sam was first diagnosed at 19 weeks gestation with a left sided Diaphragmatic Hernia. Since discovering this we have been through every emotion imaginable. This blog is a therapy for us and hopefully a resource for others facing the same journey

Just like a bought one
Who'd have thought that in under a month and with everything our little Sam endured we'd be where we were today.
They certainly do. May you always look back on this time with amazement and awe
