Tracking nicely,

One day after his surgery, Sam is looking good. His oxygen needs are lower, he's back onto normal respiration and there's talk that he may be off respiration all together before the end of next week.

If this is the Mountain Stage then he is definitely a climber like Lance Armstrong. Lance's spirit helped me through my struggle mate, so maybe there's synergy between you and your Daddy. (unfortunately we may not be welcome in France)

Katie and I cannot thank you all enough. There has just been so much support for Sam it's overwhelming. Over 3000 people have been tracking his progress and willing him on with prayers from all around the world. You are a much loved little fella.

Tomorrow is going to be a big day for Ollie, as he gets his Mummy back at home with him just in time for Christmas. As hard as it is for us leave hospital, we feel Sam is in the greatest care he could possibly have. We are only 5 minutes away if we need to be there quickly (warning to the local Rozzers; if I need to be there you'll need to chase me to NiCU. I'm not stopping). We've missed Ollie so much this week although we've had some great time with him in the Fairy Garden.

Sam got to meet his cousins Meg and Elly today. Meg wrote him a beautiful letter willing him to get better soon.

Time for some much needed sleep.
